Meetings are very important because the members and the chairman decides what are the goals of the company for the future and what challenges they will face and how they will react.
Many opinions and right decisions can make the meetings successful. Our meeting was on Sunday the 18th of April in class f13 at 11:15 am. We discussed the college enrolment and how we will increase the number of students. Our chairman Mousa called the meeting and introduced us to the topics we will discuss and take about and reach to final decision hopefully which they were five topics. The topics were as following, parking’s, flexible time table, new classes, new major’s, adding and dropping classes by registering their own classes and schedule.
I had two roles in the meeting as a member and note-taker. As a note-taker I had to write the important points that each member talks about. Furthermore, as a member I shared my opinions with the meeting members and discussed others opinions and what will help the college in the future.
This meeting differed a lot for me than the practice meeting because I was stressed and nervous as it was my first time to do a meeting. This meeting I was confident and participated more.
I think if I became a manager in the future I will handle the meeting in a better way and will organize a weekly meeting to be updated for what’s going in the company and also what’s going outside the company as who are our competitors if they were any competitors and how we will face the challenges and react as fast as possible
